I like PF, checking is fine too. As played, I'd fold since villain's stats make him look very tight-passive. I would have bet a little more on the flop. Turn bet is good.

That preflop raise would be good with any pocket pair because you have a great chance of winning the pot outright, and position isn't as important with a small pp because flops are mostly hit or miss (as opposed to scs). I think that raise is too big to call with a set here given villain's stats (albeit a small sample size)
