Has Edie Falco won an Emmy before? She is incredibly talented (although I haven't watched Sopranos in years).

Continuing to watch the post-show interviews on E (it is a slow day at work). Tony Shalhoub just got finished crediting the writers for "challenging him and stretching him as an actor". I doubt there's a repeat Emmy winner that the TV viewing-world has cared less about than Tony Shalhoub for Monk.

Another was a writer or director with a list of people he didn't thank. He had good delivery.

[/ QUOTE ]Yeah that was pretty funny....I like how he didn't thank God because even though he got the award, God had taken his hair from him.

I am watching a red-carpet interview with Jenna Fischer from The Office and I [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] her.

Monk is absolutely awful and Tony Shaloub should kill himself.

When Rainn Wilson wasn't nominated I wrote this whole thing off.

For anyone who even doubted that Edie should've been nominated (and won).

What makes her amazing is that she doesn't try to look pretty while acting, she looks real. Incredible stuff.

Edie Falco

I think Barry Manilow, Farrah Fawcett and Kate Jackson consumed the nation's Botox supply for a month. All three had totally frozen upper faces, and they still looked awful.

Also, what's with all the fake tans, did George Hamilton win a bet with everyone?

OT, the only time I've ever been to Boston was for July 4th in 2002. Went to a Sox game then walked over to the half-shell or whatever the hell it's called for the Pops Goes the Fourth or whatever the hell it's called (it is broadcast on A&E every year). We tipped someone $100 to hold our spot near the stage while we went to the game.

Anyway, Barry Manilow was one of the featured performers. The dude is TINY. I mean he can't be much more than like 5'2". And he came across as gay (NTTAWWT). Anyway, he had the FATTEST GROUPIES I have ever seen in my life. I mean the porkers were all pushing at least 250. And these bovines were howling at him like he was a giant cheeseburger. I wanted to tip one of them just to see what would happen. It was hilarious.
