I thought the whole masturbating issue was a little over the top. I can't honestly believe Jeff thought it would be ok to jack off during a passover dinner. This is CYE though.

I did love the Peppitone issue. Kinda reminded me of the krazy-eyez killa episode, which i love.

the best was the first 10 min, after that it was downhill with the last scene being a huge letdown.

"can i take a break?"

"NO!"

"i'm done helping you. i'll cya."

Yeah exactly, just seem like the whole masturbation thing went too far to the point where it wasn't really funny, and they decided to focus pretty much the whole episode on it.

The scenes with Leon (black guy) and LD were pretty awesome though I agree. I also liked towards the end when Suzy marched into LD's house and Larry and Leon were both wearing the Peppitone jerseys playing War, and then Suzy thinks Ted Danson did it after Cheryl accidentally gives him credit, lmao.

I think the show could've been much better if they stretched it into an hour. They tried to cram so many different things in, or at least left the door wide open to, then they had to rush it at the end.

Why didn't we see any of the altercation between Ted Danson and Suzy concerning the "anonymous donation" on Sammy's doll?

Also the:
"can i take a break?"

"NO!"

"i'm done helping you. i'll cya." was pretty lame.

Other than that, a pretty good episode, but partially due to the appearances of Mary Steenburgen and Gina. With those 2, it's tough to have a bad episode.

i can understand the issue with this, but i think it's easily and perhaps intentionally explainable that work shut down once his wife started talking on the phone. prior to that, i think he was just executing her plan.

as for the lack of fallout with danson on being mr anonymous with the bear, i've realized that i kinda like unimportant unfinished things that can make a person feel the show is carrying on a little life of its own when it's not being watched. they can pick up on that element anytime as a clever backreference if they want, too.

maybe they're both mistakes too, i don't really care. worked out well enough for me. i'm not a devotee of the show, but i think i found this episode more entertaining than the previous one.

The way their building up something between Cheryl and Ted (and, by extension, between Larry and Ted) implies that the "Ted came on the bear" story will definitely come out later this season.
