Re: Buy WM
It appears you were suggesting a longer term trade than a few hours but I sold my shares at $34.25 and am happy with my profit, thanks again BB.

Re: Buy WM
Interesting, I actually think that CFC is a better option than Wamu right now. The issue right now is not really about lending or quality of loans, it's the fundamental shift away from risky credit. CFC unlike other MREITs have much bigger asset base, and do not rely on other for financing.
Wamu like other thrifts suffers from a inverted or flat yield curve. Obviously if Feds start cutting rates, expect a huge rally in the sector. |

Re: Buy WM
I like MI.
Unlike other banks they get a significant part of their revenue from data processing and other services that MVNT provides, which would trade at a much higher P/E ratio if it was a stand alone company (and is why they are spinning it off). MI has avoided much of the bad sub-prime debt as well. |

I got in on Friday afternoon... cashed out half today for a 7% gain and I'm sticking around with the rest until the stock hopefully creeps back to $40 |

Re: Buy WM
A lot of random stocks would have done well over the past two days.

Re: Buy WM
Today, market is pretty flat... WM up 3%. Yesterday up 5.5%. That's darn good, could be random luck, but impressive nonetheless.
