Default Skiing in Eastern Canada.

So I'm planning a ski trip to Eastern Canada -- looking at Quebec and Ontario.

Where should I go? I've looked into more upscale places like Blue Mountain, but I've also looked at smaller places (like Mont Cascades outside of Ottawa) which could be considerably less expensive. The major problem I'm having is that outside of Tremblant and Blue Mountain, I have no good sense of what resorts are well-reviewed.

I don't require the top-of-the-line resort as I'm still a novice skiier, although I will be with friends who are slightly more experienced that me and will want something nice.

Let me know if you need more info. The timing of the trip would be mid to late March. Is this too late?
