Pot the flop and turn. I don't know what to do when you check that turn. Folding can't be that bad.

Just a sidenote, in these games its always good to have a full stack in these games.

Assuming villian has a str8 (he may not), you are getting 2.65:1 pot odds on the turn and you have 10 outs to improve to quads or a full house which is 3.6:1 against. But you should be able to get at least an extra $1 out of villian if you improve on the river, so you must call. And if you improve, I would expect you'd be able to get all the chips in on the river versus a villian str8. Call the turn as played.

As mentioned, bet the pot on the flop and near pot on the turn. If you get raised all in on the turn, call because of your odds of improving to a full house. And keep a full stack for maximizing big hand value and for learning how to play when deep.

I would suggest before posting hands, you go through the FAQ, Digest and other post found in the master sticky. You will be pleasantly surprised in the amount of useful information you will find there. Inforamtion that at this point will be far more useful than evaluating hands. In addition, the lower the stakes generally the looser the opponents. FOr this reason you should be playing a tight game and playing for pure value ( this is a reflection to another of your post, not this one).

you need a much bigger bet on the flop, do not give the draws the odds to catch up to you. bet $1.00 to $1.20 on the flop. if you get callers then all in on the turn, now you have the odds to catch up if you are beat.

I've read the FAQ, digests, poobah posts etc. Doesn't really help my game as much as posting hands did at this time, since I was having a downswing I could not afford with my tiny roll. Seeing my own hands here helped I guess, Im up one buy-in so I can stop playing for today [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
