2/5 turned little flush
2/5 at the Borgata on Friday... Main villain in this hand seems solid. I've seen him involved in more large pots than most, but the table is generally weak/tight. The table likely sees me as very LAG because I'd been raising a lot.
EDIT: I have ~$1500 and cover table. Two EP limpers, folds to me and I raise to $25 w/ 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], folds to button who calls, both limpers call. FLOP ($100): Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Qx7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] check, check, I check, button bets $75. both limpers fold, I call. TURN ($250): Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Qx7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img](5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]) I bet $125, Villain calls. River ($500): Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Qx7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img](5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img])(Tx) I bet $200, Villain calls. Thoughts on all streets appreciated. |

Re: 2/5 turned little flush
I think this is fine, and I'm guessing your hand was good.

Re: 2/5 turned little flush
Given that he called the two bets when you hit, it's fine... but I think you kinda got lucky that he did. We have no indication that he's got something strong enough to call $325 on the last two streets when the obvious draw hits, unless you forgot to tell us something.
I'm debating how I feel about just betting this flop... yes it's into 3 players which is bad, but 1) If you get raised, NOW you can be a little more sure that he's inclined to go to showdown, 2) it makes it less obvious that the club is what you were looking for, and 3) you do have SOME (albeit very little) FE, maybe with a 2nd barrel on the turn depending on who is left. |
