I wouldn't make this turn bet without some kind of read that he's calling with a lot on the flop that he folds on the turn.

As played I'd bet about 1/3 PSB to fold out the numerous draws he could've been calling with. It doesn't have to work all that often to be +EV.

Right, so you just blew 1/2 your stack and wan't to throw some more money to villain here? Maybe the worst idea I've ever heard besides of folding the nuts.

Edit: OP, check turn with the intention of c/f river UI.

When cbets / turn follow-up go bad. No reads on villian?

Do you think he's folding a weak pair if you bet river?

On this board I check behind on the turn and check fold river unimproved. No need to throw more money away with no pair no draw.

I think you took it too far, played it too fast. Check that river, he may have gotten there and is expecting you to play the way you played the whole hand, namely bet big, so he can C/R AI. You only beat busted draws, on a pretty draw-heavy board.
