Stack sizes of the players you left out? Who is villain?

I'm pretty sure that 3betting here is worse than folding or calling. Whenever I see these posts, I consider that it may be a reasonable spot to fold preflop, but rarely if ever actually do when I'm playing. I think I fold to this, call a 3x raise.

Folding isnt that bad of an option. You're calling 350 off out of position without any reads on the player. Also, you are pretty much hoping for a 7 and you can't really call a continuation bet with your stack size. If the flop does come 3 bricks you won't necessarily know where you are at until you c/r ai or c/c and hope the turn bricks and he slows down.

Or you could just fold and find a much better, less marginal spot. There's something to be said for folding in general. It seems to be an overlooked part of the game but can be so crucial.

Sometimes I do call here depending on how frisky I'm feeling. I'm just a sucker for sets.

reraise pre and get it in is by far the worst option. way too many chips, no antes, small raise, its just flat out horrific.

this is very player dependent, but in general i think fold is the best option preflop.

against a lot of random players, calling and leading flops is acceptable, as is check calling ok flops and leading turns, or trying to check it down. but i still think its too hard to play oop and you are losing money, so fold is best

it's going to be a big continuation bet. So aaaaaaaaa has 4500 going into the hand. Then 4150 going into the flop. And after he calls the 850 on the flop, he's going to have 3300 which isn't horrible but he still has no idea if he's good or not.

I don't play the 100r enough to know, but what does that raise size mean if anything?

[/ QUOTE ]

nobody except timex touched on this and I think that's pretty much the most important point about calling vs. folding pre.

Don't delete the other players stack sizes because it takes away information, especially with the wierd raise size.

Raise or fold preflop. I'd lean toward folding because early after the rebuy the play is very TAGgy.

Bet/folding flop is best play after calling preflop IMO.
