Default AK versus 70/1 Fish: 100NL

Villain is 72/1/1.36/1.57/2.33

I had 71 hands on him, and I couldn't find a hand where he played a big pot OOP, so I had no idea how to deal with the c/r. His range is wide given his PF stats. The size of the c/r is what really scared me, especially given the fact that I bet near pot on both streets( i could have bet a little more on the flop I guess), which screamed a lot of strength.

Will post results later. Ofishstix and I were arguing about this one for a while. The fact that his range is so wide and his aggression is so high given his pf stats makes this want to be a call, but his line screams so much strength.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB ($37.25)
BB ($16.55)
UTG ($87.50)
MP ($84.40)
CO ($183.95)
Hero ($97)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls $1, 2 folds, Hero raises to $5, 2 folds, UTG calls $4.

Flop: ($11.50) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $8, UTG calls $8.

Turn: ($27.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $21, UTG raises to $53, Hero....

Thanks for the input.

I think I try to ignore the pfr stats on this one and let it go although it would be hard in real life.

he might be agressive, but this is not how fish bluff or play medium strength hands.

Ugh... this reeks of a slowplayed sneaky set.

I'm with BG... We probably oughta fold but I probably wouldn't, instead favoring spite-shoving, stacking off, and being mad at myself for a couple hours.

i'm not folding TPTK on this board vs a 72/1/1.5 for 90bb

i think you are making this harder than it has to be when you try to a handread a 72/1/1.5 when you have never seen him do a move like this ... he could have air, A6, AT, 44, 25, spades, who knows

i'm not saying you can't handread 72/1/1.5's ever, i'm saying that when you see him do a move he never did before for 90bb eff and you have to be good with TPTK like 40% of the time - get it in and stop overthinking

tptk + A43T twotone board + 90 bb stacks + 70/1/1.5 = get it allin imho. sometimes poker is a very easy game

call turn
call river when he shoves, or shove yourself if he checks

I dunno, I've played w/ guys like this w/ 70ish vpip's but very low pfr's and they don't get outta line post flop w/ marginal hands.

Not sure I could find a fold against this guy. I would probably shove it in and slam something when he turns over A 10.
