Interesting hand 3-6
Sup guys, this is my first post so bare with me that I didnt use the converter... dont have the HH saved, and this hand is from a few weeks ago. Anyway, onto the hand...
3-6 NL on FTP The game is playing pretty loose, my image is pretty aggressive, 3 betting pretty light, etc. Eff stacks are 1300. The reads I have on my two opponents are that they are very aggro, have a tendancy to call 3 bets light, and are definitely willing to splash around being that its over 200bbs. Anyway on to the hand... Dealt to hero on the button x x Utg raise to 21, UTG + 1 calls. Hero calls on button. Blinds fold. Flop: 8 3 2 (two diamonds) UTG bets out 54 into 70. UTG +1 calls. Hero calls. Turn: off suit 7 UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero checks. River: off suit 10. UTG bets out around 190 or so into 230. UTG folds, Hero raise to 630.... I want you guys to tell me what hand range you put hero on, what hand range you put the villian on. What hands do you think you can profitably call the hero's river raise with? |

Re: Interesting hand 3-6
which two cards on the flop are the diamonds... this kinda determines whether u can have 810dd or [censored] like that.

Re: Interesting hand 3-6
well i doubt you ever have a set here, except maybe 1010.
you could also have J9dd 69dd, 810dd, 810s of a diff suit? you could prob be doin this with air too i guess idk since i havent played with you. whats the worst hand ppl call with here?? depends on the guy some ppl may call u with A10 or some [censored]. |

Re: Interesting hand 3-6
UTG looks like he whiffed a c/r on turn. Ur hand looks like a backdoor luckboxed draw, or complete air. Can't even put u on TT (where's the turn bet?) and obviously no other set either. Not putting u on T8dd either since u prob raise flop.
So if it's a backdoor draw it's going to have to be J9dd or 69dd exactly. I might look u up here pretty light(1 pair). Since all other diamonds missed. Really, I wouldn't be surprised if u show up with 5 high or 6 high here about 30%. |

Re: Interesting hand 3-6
I guess hero could have a weirdly played set or something, but I'm leaning towards 8T for a rivered two pair or a bluff. If hero has anything other than exactly T8 here, than the hand was played horribly IMO. Not betting a big draw or a set on the turn would be pretty awful this deep. This line looks bluffy but It's hard for me to come up with a hand for hero that would bluff the river unless you decided to turn a hand with marginal showdown value into a bluff. I'd definately call this raise with 2 pair or a set but an overpair would be a seriously tough decision, since most TAGs don't make bluffs when they don't make sense.

[ QUOTE ] you better have it here. [/ QUOTE ] yea this is a real bad spot to bluff ....utg will never give u credit [/ QUOTE ] here was my thinking...villain knows that i know that i have to have it hear bc of how underrepped my hand is. why would i be making this move, knowing that he isnt going to be giving me credit for a hand? this hand comes down to the fact of whether or not the villain thinks i know how light he will be calling down here making it a -EV call for him in the long run bc the only way I make this move with this thinking is if I actually have a made hand. |
