Default JJ, cb gets raised by very aggro LAG

villain is loose and very aggro, think but im not sure that i have seen him play 10/20 before or maybe that was someone else with a similar name.

he seems to like to raise continuation bets, especially on K-high boards, i had a feeling a raise was coming before i bet bet the flop.
in another hand later he raised a cbet from another player on a Kxx, all hearts board and lost to KQ in a showdown, dont know what he had.
should i genreally check to this type of player? if he raises too often obv i want that and shouldnt.

but how to avoid going broke here and pick him off when he is FOS?

what is the best line here? i did not know here but later saw him raise 66 pre, then betw eak with a flopped set on aflushdrawboard but otherways dry flop then c/r allin on the turn.

not enough info to really deduct how he plays but the type to be aggro with air/draws and slower with steel? if hes god i guess not though and 2 hands doesnt say anythign anyway and i hadnt seen thsoe hands when i played this one anyway.

From what you have seen of him, he is probably just messing with you. But, that is a pretty big raise...

Muck it, pick a better spot for your money. No need to push back with middle pair, wait until you at least have top pair

i'd push, people raise here with a huge range, and folding 2nd pair [JJ at that] on a ragged flop like this is weak

You realise he only calls a push with hands that beat you right?

I think i fold. You're probably SA/WB here and not a spot you want to get all your money in on unless you have a much better read.

Thing is you have no idea if he has a king or air. And if he is aggro, he won't let you get to showdown easily, and you have no way of improving your hand.

Also I don't think your hand is good enough to push

I think this hand shows the power of position.

I fold here, and wait for a spot to let him hang himself when I have a decent hand

Gotta fold. Personally don't hate a c/c on flop if you think he'll be playing back. This is a good flop to play back at, and there's not much you can do about it, being OOP.

Hero takes a note on his play and implements it in his game

These are tough spots. Can he show up with TT/KT here? Or KQ? Is he raising bare low FDs (probably not). All good things to know here, tough when you don't. Sounds like he gave up before when he raised the K hi flop, so I don't mind a call and c/f turn. Very important to check when you see a play like that though, would be extremely useful to see what he had in the other hand. Depending on his vbetting range you can shove instead, if you have a good read that he doesn't raise KQ here and likely won't show up with TT/KT.

Btw normally I wouldn't be so concerned about KQ since it's rarely raised but this guy sounds a bit wild.
