Looking for a screenshot so it would be more funny, but just do like Donnie Darko did at the therapist 'cept talk about the feeling you get when your winning.

Since all of the above online nerds can only crack jokes to distract everyone from their utter lack of anything resembling intelligence, I figure I'd lend a helping hand. One point I think you can mention is that poker isn't like blackjack or sportsbetting. Give an overview of the way you think about the game and he/she should be able to see that its not some compulsive/dangerous gambling problem. As said, however, if the therapist has some emotional block in this matter already then nothing you will say can change his/her mind.

I'm jealous. If you have anything bothering you or any anxieties, you should take advantage of it. Things you will regret not taking advantage of while it was free:

Dentist
Doctor
psychiatrist

I'd probably suck a dick for someone to take me to any of those for free. Over charging dick bags!

i like how you say you're going to throw down some solid advice, and then you regurgitate everything that's already been said

I am grunching but here is what i would say

poker is teaching you a lot of good things about life
you are learning serious analytical and critical thinking skills. The mental capacity required to play winning poker is grossly underestimated.

second, you are learning a little bit about zen. it takes a special type of personality to be able to deal with all of the bs poker throws our way

third, at least you arent shooting heroine in your free time.

Wow. What an (censored). This is BBV, not psychology.

And your advice is no different that 10 of the previous posters. Somehow, they were able to say it with a little humor, and without pissing in the punchbowl of BBV.
