I have been invited to a very enticing home game…

It is basically a decent size game played by some wealthy business men in London, most are old (so I’m told) and probably see it as a bit of fun. Problem is that it is PLHE and the max you can buy in for is 50BB, I haven’t played PLHE ever, and haven’t sat down with less than 100BB for a long time so haven’t got a clue how to play short well. Does any one have any advise?

It probably doesn't take long to get effective stacks 100BB.

when you're short-stacked and/or playing pot limit, the value of one-pair-hands goes up and the value of drawing hands goes down, since your implied odds aren't as good and you can't semibluff allin.

gamble it up and get a nice loose/bad image while building a decent stack, and then play good poker.

He will have already doubled most of them up during the aforementioned shoveaments, so effective stacks will be 100BB+.
