you lose value from a ton of hands by just calling. It's possible, but unlikely that he hit that flush and all two pair hands call you, and TPTK calls you amongst the other crap.

Villains calling range to a river raise is set/str8/the odd two pair.
You are a favorite against his calling range, so push it in.

The river is an easy shove, pretty much the only hand he can possibly hold that beats you is a flopped straight. If he's holding that, just say "NH sir!" and move on. You're giving up TONS of value because any 2 pair/lower set/TP kinda hand is going to call your shove.
