this looks pretty good

Edit: hang on didn't see CO raised PF, you may actually be ahead on turn.

I don't mind the flop bet if you are hoping CO will raise (in that case I would 3bet)

As played you may be able to c/r the turn since everyone else dropped out of the hand.

i'd bet the turn; i'm not ready to put someone on a 4 just yet.

i bet the turn and call a raise with 4:1 pot odds to improve your hand.

I dont mind the check & see approach, but soon as CO bets and everyone else folds I'm c/r'ing.

Bet and c/r the turn? Is this all because of the preflop raise. I'm really rubbish at reading hands, it is one of many weaknesses i am working on.

So, the preflop raise tells me he is unlikely to have the 4? That makes sense.

If I do raise the turn and the river comes A do i check/call for fear of set over set or is it unlikely he holds a pair of aces because he didn't raise the flop bet?

Don't understand the logic. If you would 3bet, you assume to be ahead. If you are ahead, you want the max money in the pot. If you want that, you don't want CO to face the field with two cold.

Thus, I don't like the flop bet. I'd c/r.

I also raise the turn. And I probably still raise the river. I'm more worried of 89s than A4s and I'm not worried much of either.

Overpairs always raise this flop donk. Overpairs don't always 3-bet flop check raises.

Overcards rarely bet the flop 4-way. Overcards sometimes raise the flop donk.

It's all about getting money into the pot. Betting out is usually better.

I was afraid of the straight.

Should i have bet and folded to a raise? Bet/call? Then what about the river?
