Ignoring Mods?

It would appear there is no support currently for the ignoring of moderators.

This makes sense due to the fact you want to make sure users see important posts, stickies, announcements, etc.

However would it be at all possible to upgrade the forum software (not even sure if this is possible) such that you can ignore the mods non-stickied posts or their posts in forums they do not currently moderate?

There is a small handful of moderators that frankly I would be pleased if I never saw another line of text from again.

Off the top of my head I would ignore Dids, Nation, Daryn, and Diebitter.

Put people you don't want to read on ignore before they become moderators. It worked for me with several of them [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img].

Ignoring mods has no practical purpose when you can simply scroll past their posts, and gives users the option to grossly break rules and claim ignorance. "I didn't know I couldn't post scat in MTT Strat! I have that mod on ignore!"

You can say "well, I'm willing to take that risk and they can ban me if I break a rule I missed because I have a mod on ignore," but really, it's not worth it for the risk factor to the site, and the amount of time people may say that, but then throw a fit when they get banned anyway.

What if i told you that I have a particular mod on ignore? Would it blow your mind?
