Re: Black Coaches in the Super Bowl Thread
The media's really slacking. It's just like last year when nobody bothered to mention the fact that Jerome Bettis was from Detroit, THE VERY SAME CITY WHERE THE SUPERBOWL WAS BEING PLAYED!

Re: Black Coaches in the Super Bowl Thread
Gee, and I thought it was a big deal that for the first time in the history of the SuperBowl, both teams will come from states starting with the letter "I".

Re: Black Coaches in the Super Bowl Thread

I can only pray the media mentions this at some point, as it would be a shame if such a story got overlooked. Discuss! [/ QUOTE ] I've already said all I want to in the other thread, but let me say that your sarcastic 'it would be a shame if such a story got overlooked' is [censored] pathetic and makes you look pretty stupid. It will be talked about for the next 2 weeks(heaven forbid, 2 weeks of giving this story airtime). All I'm saying is that the media will drive any human interest story down our throats, along with other awful stories like TO, Ricky Williams, etc - so since the media over-covers every story I think this one is a clear cut above all the other crap they drive down our throats. James,
Why are you so angry? This is such a clear example of the media CREATING news. That's what's pathetic. |

James [/ QUOTE ] James, You're right. This is exactly one cut above TO and Ricky, and several cuts below anything that constitutes real news. |
