Default Black Coaches in the Super Bowl Thread

It was requested in the AFC title game thread to start a seperate thread for discussing this.

Most of you are probably not aware, because the media absolutely REFUSES to cover or mention it in any way, but for the first time ever there will be African American coaches in the Super Bowl, two of them in fact.

I can only pray the media mentions this at some point, as it would be a shame if such a story got overlooked.

Discuss!

I'd like to see two Mexican Super Bowl coaches. Also Muslim Arabs and/or Asians.

This 'story' is so ridiculous but I'm glad to see Dungy and Lovie Smith coaching the Super Bowl because I think they are good coaches and seem like solid HUMAN BEINGS.

Did this story make anyone else want Shannon Sharpe to get fired more then usual this week? I don't think he talked about anything else, although it is sort of hard to tell...

SL,

I noticed it too, but Sharpe is always an idiot and should be fired anyway.

I'd like to see a super bowl in which two white running backs are playing each other.

I've already gotten tired of people pointing out that the media can't resist pointing out we've got two chocolate faces in the mix. I'm happy for Dungy, happy that we had a really good playoff game, and happy that I'm not faced with Bears vs Pats.

Ironically, both starting quarterbacks are 2 of the whitest people in America.
