I've never had a moment where I said to myself "Looks like I could use some new boxers." If people didn't buy it for me I'd probably be wearing pairs I had in 8th grade.

OP,

My wife buys them for me because I will:

1. Wear them ragged.
2. Freeball it if I do not find a suitable pair.

I would be uncomfortable if my mom bought me underwear post childhood. You are all a buncha momma's boys.

Due to my utter contempt for shopping (I buy pretty much everything online), my mother every year, for Christmas and my birthday (which are 5 days apart) will buy me a boatload of socks and boxer shorts and give them to me as my Christmas and birthday gifts. I am 26 years old. I kinda like this system and do not find it weird. It's quite convenient, actually.
