I'm far too debilitated to debate entire soundtracks, but I'd love to give a shout out to a song that could'nt be more appropriate to a scene in a movie.

Cat Stevens, Trouble, is a perfect sentiment to the overdose of, by that time, if you've been watching the movie, our beloved Maude, in Harold and Maude.

If you don't remember the scene and the song, you're entirely forgiven, if you haven't seen the movie, you're not. It should be shown in schools.

The Dragon: Bruce Lee Story was an awesome Soundtrack that I've always been meaning to buy. I hate myself for never coming around to it.

Has anyone mentioned Last of the Mohicans?? "I will find you" by Clannad... Great song!!!

Also, loved the soundtrack to Jurassic Park, another John Williams masterpiece.

Edit: Obv, mentioned previously, beat me too it... by a month... Bah!

Great thread bump.

I love the "O Brother" sound track. I don't own it, but I've heard the version of "I'll Fly Away" is not the one from the movie. Some kind of licensing snafu is what I heard. If true, that's a damn shame because I think that's the best song in the movie. I'll sing little bits of both parts of the duet when watching the flick, drives the missus crazy.

My fav-rave ST's are from Guy Ritchie movies Lock, Stock, Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. I like how they intertwine snippets from the movies with the songs on the soundtracks. Plus, any soundtrack with "Zorba the Greek" or The Stranglers "Golden Brown" gets my vote.

The Fountain has a beautiful and sometimes haunting score. Created by the same composer for Requiem For A Dream.

The Last Man (part of it, at least)
Stay With Me

There is a pretty big difference between "soundtrack" and "score".

The OP largely referenced Score's (Blade Runner, Clockwork Orange, Jurassic Park, Fight Club, etc.), with some non original Soundtracks mixed in (Pulp Fiction) while calling them OST's (which is very similar to a Score). Given the trend of the thread, any distinction went out the window.
