I really don't mind the river check vs an unknown, because his flop & turn play is screaming FD. The pot is pretty huge and we can't really fold to a c/r, so I check behind too. In fact, I can't see any other way to play your hand. Actually, this is actually kind of a scary board vs button. I'm tempted to check the turn.

I felt like SB was looking for a draw simply because he kept calling the entire way.

Being tempted is ok but you should never actually do it.
I think he hand is played fine, although I'd bet the river. he might have a FD but he might as well have TPGK or even worse. IMHO the way SB played on the flop screams "I'm a retard" much louder than anything about a FD.
Anyway, checking behing on the river is ok vs. an unknown as long as you don't fall for checking all kind of big hands against all kinds of opponent just because you're afraid.

I'll agree. The action screams "i'll pump the pot so I get mobnies when I hit my draw"

I don't fold KK here and I don't give SB any more action on the river as a great many hands beat us. I frown mightily as the pot moves away from us, punch something and make a note.

Good on every street. Nice river check through, a flush makes up way too much of his range. Don't be in the habit of checkign through every flush river though.

I agree, nerdking how do you think a flush should play this flop?

Nice river check, what interests me the most is that wtf button had, can't put him on anything.
