When running bad, you may not want to call preflop with hands that are difficult to play postflop, esp. when you are oop.

Re: I ridiculous overbet because I dont want to get sucked out on
Everyone else has already said this, but:
Stop playing hands in a way that makes them easy to play, play them in a way to maximize your EV. You are being really results oriented if you are making plays like this constantly (i supect you are). I'm sure we all have this problem to an extent, but this is [censored] ridiculous. |

Re: I ridiculous overbet because I dont want to get sucked out on
the op hand sucks going all in.
your making the decision so easy for him. i think of it that you need to take advantage that you know your cards and your opponent only puts you on a hand range. here your Q9 is clearly better than the average hand he puts you on based on his hand range. thus you shouldn't be making it obvious that this is the case, instead bet an amount that if he calls he will make a mistake by calling, becuase he is calling vs your average hand, not the actual hand you have which he does not have odds for, but he thinks he does because he puts you on a weaker hand on average. i'd bet about $270 fwiw. so if that's stating the obv, just i think pushing here sucks. |

[/ QUOTE ] and to this hand i think PSB turn to make his mistake bigger, and check river to induce bluff? - cause sometimes he will check behind with worse hand and he won't call with it your river bet, if you are rivered - you have to pay him off i also think biiger flop c/r is not good cause he can have combodraw, and on gblank turn we have better odds |

Re: I ridiculous overbet because I dont want to get sucked out on
How about not calling raises out of position with drawing hands?
Problem solved, ship me the moneyz later. |
