Why call 3rd? You want to jam as much as possible all the way, if you get beat thems the breaks.
Get as much money in the pot on all streets unless you have a very strong specific read.

Just because someone has 3 low cards showing, doesn't mean they have a made low. Sure, he could have a made low and have a flush draw, but most likely he has no flush draw and has a pair and 4 to a low.

I would have capped 6th, since I don't see how he has a low given the 5th street play. 888 > 777 or two pair or pair and low draw or flush draw or whatever he has. I would have bet 5th and called down after a raise though.
