Default does this betting pattern look okay??

Villain is solid 22/14/2
we haven't tangled til now. I'm not sure why i min raised the flop, but flame away...but also suggest a better way,...thats the purpose of the post ....yeah??

Yeah villian doesn't have AQ obviously. He has bet/3bet the flop so I don't know why you wouldn't just stick a 4bet in there (and yes raise more the first time round).

Raise the flop to 20-23 the first time. Given your min-raise, push when he makes it 25.

On a draw heavy board like this I like a push after his flop reraise. There are so many cards that will kill your action on the turn, and he may call with AQ or an overpair since you could easily be pushing a draw.

I don't like the flop min-raise. Any particular reason for it?

Thanks for your specific and explained suggestions. I never considered a card falling on the turn that would kill my action. For reasons unknown, i usually think a 4 bet will kill the action right there so hesitate to do it. your way is better.

I wish a few of the other posters would get the idea this is a forum for discussion no derision. duh....
