Pot control
Too much preflop, bring it down a bit.
I'd check the flop too.

As played if you don't bet the turn he owns the river....

I can't give him credit for the straight here, and I don't see most unknowns checking the flop with an ace. I bet the turn for about 400. As played, call the river. I think it's a steal often enough that you have to call, given the odds.

Also, I agree with StregaChess about the pfr - 6xBB is a bit much - make it 3-4xBB. I think betting the flop is fine, considering you were checked to, but checking behind for pot control is probably also fine.

Question though: If we check the flop, and the turn comes while we're three way, what's our action if BB bets and MP calls? How about if BB checks and MP bets? Assume each bet is about half pot.

I'm playing this the same. I don't like the option of checking behind on the flop, a c-bet will pick up the pot a lot of the time as the A is probably a scare card for any caller.

I check the flop as well. I believe that MP1 has either a weaker A, and wants to check-call it down for pot-control, or a medium pp. Same goes for BB. After checking, I would bet t250 on that relative safe turn.

As played, I check turn and probably call a small bet on a safe river. I don`t think the K helped him/her a lot, so I put him/her on a set or a weaker A.
