Default Question about Guitar Hero Guitars

Is anyone else having problems with them? We have a wireless one which works ok, but the fret buttons push into the neck too far, and it will sometimes just strum of its own accord when the strum bar is in the center position.

We also have two wired guitars. The strum bar in one jammed so that it was always strumming, which sucks hard. I was just playing with the other one, and the fret buttons are starting to stick. Also, when trying to play chords (specifically blue/red and yellow/orange) the freaking thing just stopped working. It's like the bottom button just stopped registering or something. The strum bar is also incredibly squeaky.

Is there any way I can get refunds or replacements for these things? I've had them for a few months, they shouldn't be breaking down this fast (although we do collectively put a lot of wear and tear on them), and I can't afford to keep shelling out for new controllers every 2-3 months.

for the fret buttons on the wired:

Unscrew the back of the guitar. You just need a regular phillipshead. Take the buttons out if you have to. Clean them with alcohol. Let them dry Put it back together. Should be good.

Wireless buttons are always gonna be sticky

Try cleaning the strum bar with alcohol too.

Ok: I just unjammed the jammed guitar by taking it apart, and realized that the strum bar on the wireless is super smooth and sensitive so it's very easy to accidentally strum and dead strum in passages with complicated rhythms.

Ooh ooh i has a problem too.

Randomly one of my guitars (wired) will refuse to strum down for a while (which blows hard). Could be after 5 mins of play or could be fine for a couple of days. Anyhoo I have 2 so it only sucks for multiplayer - but kind of sucks when I am kicking someones ass at freebird and then they complain they wouldn't have lost If guitar didnt break with 10 secs to go.

Ideas?

I was about to open it up at weekend but wouldnt have a clue what I am looking for.

Oh btw this problem started 2 days after I got it but accidentally put a massive hole in box and couldn't be bothered to take it back.
