... but I just wanted to make a suggestion that I've found useful to me when I've done reviews with some fellow poker players on a Finnish site:

I review my own session prior to receiving my pair's comments. I integrate my initial comments, my pair's comments and the subsequent discussion all in the same file.

This allows me to easily compare the similarities and differences between..

.. as played, my line in the heat of the battle
.. my analysis and thinking on my own play - "tabula rasa" or "grunched"
.. pair's comments

.. plus the subsequent discussion.


I believe this can help to reveal leaks in your "thinking" better. It's a bit like grunching your own session and then seeing how it compares to what others thought of it.

I have been trying this for two months - and I seem to be getting some very busy partners. Either I get my reviewed session a few weeks after I submit mine to them - or I get nothing at all in return. Yeah, that sucks.

So I will try again, but if anyone else screws me over on this one, I will hunt you down and burn your retinas with a red hot coat hanger.
