Default top set vs tard

1/2 fr online

villian is bad; 52/13 over 150 hands but running very hot, jamming a lot of pots and getting there repeatedly. my image is tag.

i know this is probably not a huge decision but how many bets do you guys tend to go in this kind of situation?

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP2 calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP2 calls.

Flop: (5.50 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP2 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, MP2 calls.

Turn: (6.75 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP2 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 3-bets</font>, Hero ?

:g:

You can cap the turn with a decent equity even if behind. River I think I just call if bet into. If checked I just b/caill myself.

i think this is hugely read-dependent, and while i read your read, only you were there.

anyway, your hand is well-hidden and he could easily think you're going nuts with AA and that his two pair is good. however, 75o is probably in his open-limping range and he could be crazy enough to b/3b the flop with a pair and a gutshot, adding more combos that beat you. even crazy villains can see a 4-straight on board, so each bet that goes in increases the chance that he has a straight.

i think capping and trying to put in 1 bet on the river (yay position) is the right number of bets.

I stop here and call. Tard has 5 many times.

not unless he has exactly 75... or MAYBE A5dd

He's gonna have 2pair or undersets far more often IMO

your behind to a number of 5x hands and T9 ... and have 10 outs

you say villain is a tard ... so i imagine he could play another set, two pair, flush draw, and a slow play AA or KK

raising and calling is pretty close IMO ... so if day is goot, raise - if day is bad call

if i cap and he still leads the river I would just call

I pretty much agree with what Point Blank has said. I don't mind capping the turn when we have 10 outs if behind, as this guy will most likely lead out on the river UI and we can get another bet in if we hit.
