Default Calling more marginal hands to have a wider range on the flop?

Ok, i will give a short example:
your raise to 7 bb a halfway aggressive player raises to 22, we dont have the immediate implied odds to call, but it probably would be slightly -ev to call (say we just assume that). is it possible it is still a good call because our good calling hands will be more disguised if we call with the marginals too preflop?

Open raise to 7bbs? Is this 5/10 live?
