Default FTP 200 PLO, very interesting turn card

I thought this hand was pretty interesting, hopefully you'll agree.

PART ONE:

Villian is donking around on multiple tables with less than full buyins on each. He has $160 to start this hand, I cover. Probably a pretty bad player. Running at 50/7/1.5 after 75 hands. Haven't really seen him get out of line though, stats are datamined.

Game is 4 handed at the time (it had been a full 6max table but 2 players sat out right before this hand) and I am effectively UTG.

I raise K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], button folds, SB (villain) calls, BB calls. 3 players, $21 pot.

flop 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

they check, I bet $14 only villain calls. 2 players, $49 pot.

Turn K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], giving me top 2 + 2nd NFD

villain checks...

I would bet $40-49 here every time. Villain probably has 56 or 35 and maybe smaller flush draw.

I do not see any benefit for giving your opponent a free card.

i just pot this and call any reraise - you are miles in front of villans overall range here and you want to charge him the maximum for sucking out. of course the dweeb could be splashing round with bottom set but meh thats PLO

I felt this was kind of a tough spot. I don't want him to fold if he has AA or some kind of ragged 2 pair. Also, I'd like to have him draw to a smaller flush if he just picked up the draw.

I chose to bet 1/2 pot to keep him in if he had a ragged hand. I honestly wasn't sure what I'd do if he CRd. I guess I would have had to call.

PART TWO:

I bet $25, he called. 2 Players. Pot $99.

River J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

He bets $99.

Change post, you either misread hand or mistyped post, you don't have the 2nd NFD. As played $35-$40 on the turn looks good. I'd probably fold the river when the offsuit J falls.

the only way i can find a call here is if he had a high river agression factor. i think too many players give themselves these difficult river decisions by not making decisive enough flop and turn bets, so that villan dosent have this kind of leverage on the river, and this is a good example. if you just pot/pot then he might have $50 back on the river and getting 3-1 this is a much easier call

this is a super tough spot, and while i cant see what hes beating us with i cant see how given his stats hes doing this with air

I put in about 5/6 of the pot here every time. Charge the lesser draws.
