Default Foxwoods 5/10 NL

i tried to search and found nothing...

i plan on heading to foxwoods at some point this week. either tomorrow or friday most likely. what is the 5/10 NL game like? how soft is it? is the buy in uncapped? if so how deep is it normally playing? what's the wait time like in the afternoon or night? any info you can give would be greatly appreciated.

thanks.

Last time I was there the highest game was 5-5 NL. I think they might have changed it to 5/10 which is good. It also had no cap on the buy in. There is a time charge of 6 dollars per half hour.

Oh the game plays very deep. Some players have as much as 10k in front of them.

I haven't honestly put that much time into the game to know. I made about 700 and haven't played it since. When I was there four of the players had a lot of chips in front of them. The rest had the standard buy in of 1k. In a very big pot one of the players had made a huge mistake and sucked out for about a 9k pot.

The game seemed pretty soft to me with lots of overbetting and calls preflop. I think you should be alright bringing 3k just in case. They have a very loose 2/5 game now also that I hear is very good.

The 5/10 game isnt uncapped, its a $2k max. Also there is no longer a 5/5 game, only the 10/25+ is uncapped, and they usually run on tuesdays.

I miss that 5/5 game it was great!
Yeah they changed the min/max buy ins at foxwoods recently
1/2 is 300max now 2/5 is 500max and 5/10 I thougt was 1k now but it might be 2k im not sure Tom would know.
There has always been at least one 5/10 game anytime I have been there.
there is usually more action on the weekends.

I've never played the 5-10NL game, but I'm pretty sure the buy-in is 500 - 1500 now, and 10-25 is the uncapped game (which runs a little less often). I was down there last night and they had only one table going (plus 3 or 4 games of 2-5, and about 10 or 15 1-2 games). The waittimes are tough to say - at the bigger NL games it looks like the players tend to stay for much longer, so even if you're first on the list the wait could be over an hour.
