Default PokerAce. When did they degrade?

Used to work fine for me, now it takes forever to load the stats for my tables (like takes half the sit and go to load some of them). I play on Stars and I play 8 at a time.

What happened?

Ryan

Do you have a very large database? I found that very large databases can cause a lag in table updates. I had a database that had like 3000 SNGs plus 100s of MTT, and 200K of cash games hands from over two years of playing. I cut it down to 6 months worth of data and the lag went away.

Nothing has changed in PokerAce Hud. My guess is that you have hit the limit for your database type or you are using too many databases. Typically you do not notice the incremental slowdown until one day and it lags a lot.

I highly recommend using the Database Cache if you are not already doing so.

Also, it wouldnt hurt to maintenance your database(s) via PokerTracker and either create a new database or convert to Postgres (if you are using Access)

If you continue to have problems or have further questions feel free to contact me via the PokerAce Support system. I will gladly assist you in speeding things up again
