Other than this poll and another 2+2 thread from a while back I never knew that "wadding" was an option. This forum is just a great place to learn stuff.

Another gem from the article linked in the OP:

We need someone smart (is Wacki around) to examine the amount of energy used in making detachable sleeves versus producing napkins along with the costs associated with cleaning the sleeves (detergent, water, heating water, making more laundry machines) versus simply disposing the paper napkins.

I remember a few years back reading how actor Kevin Bacon was pontificating regarding how his family uses cloth diapers instead of disposables and how this was so noble and good for the environment. His family was living in Southern California during a friggin water shortage.

yeah, I'm surprised to learn that more men wad than fold. WTF? It would never have occured to me. Maybe I have more of a feminine side than I thought. ( assuming of course, that woman are the opposite of men and fold, but maybe I'm wrong again, perhaps most women only use one square, lol. only the deranged sort. )
