How do I rotate a video 90 degrees?

My friend took some videos on his digital camera at my Super Bowl party on Sunday that I want to save on a DVD. The only problem is the camera was sideways and neither of us can figure out how to rotate them. Can anyone give us a hand? The videos are in .mov format FWIW.
