Raising lets you fold hands like middle pairs and random bluffs without a showdown.

I don't think that middle pairs and random bluffs make up much of his range, at all.

Note: The PT stats that we have on villian (I'm pretty sure) are over < 50 hands.

You can often pick off midpairs by betting the turn when you miss
