Default tips for PLO omaha donkaments

hi i am playing in the LEOCOP 200$ PLO tourny tongight, having qualified thru satallites and need advice on how to play these full ring (10 seater on ladbrokes) omaha tournies.
is it alright to still play low suited connectors, eg 3456 ds and, as i usually play 6 max, do you have to tighten up a lot?

any advice is greatly appreciated.

ps i didnt post in MTT community as they will just be NLH players mostly

OK; first things first; label those players who only raise with AA, KK and broadway suited rundowns; then play against them; making moves on low/medium boards (of course these are the hands you want to be playing against them anyway)

I like to see a lot of flops, don't be afraid to lose 25% of your stack being agressive;

If it gets to the stage you are short stacked; but have maybe 2 pot bets in you (one pre, one postflop; which would be an m of 9 or so by my reckoning) you have to pick a hand and commit; say you pick up AQ107 suited ace or some such reasonable mediocre hand... you cant wait for aces the whole time!

As ever, other normal tournament strategy applies; see the mtt forums for that;

Good Luck, please post or pm your results; and any important hands would be lovely also!

(1) Get lucky
(2) Load up PLO cash games at same time.

In all seriousness, it comes down to a cliche, get your money in good and hope for the best. You have to win a lot of races so don't place too much weight on playing a tourney with a strategy in mind. If you don't cash, rinse repeat. I think you'll come up against a worse collection of players in PLO tourney's over NLHE so there is an opportunity to do well if you're running well. In that, you'll come up against more players making head-reading/maths errors.

GL! Keep us posted with your result!

Don't show anybody any respect in the first hour. The recent PLO tournament during the Stars WCOOP highlighted how appalling people are at Omaha. There were some seriously clueless shoves for the first 2 hours each event.

The WCOOP part two story gives you an insight into Greg Raymers donkament strategy hand by hand, which worked at least once.

Good luck.

Default My Progress Updates

big hand blinds 25/50 4 to the flop after raise and reraise, (sorry hard to get hand histories on ladbrokes)

flop JhJX5h i have qj109ds (no hearts) preflop reraiser bets 300 into 2400ish pot i make 1500 hoping flush draw comes along, get reraised by someone who covers. i go [censored] it, i have probably around 9 outs if he aint on flush draw.
we get it all in he has aj89 i think, turn irrelevent heart, then river BOOOOM Q. nice big double up and a bit more to 11k! 10 out of 194!
WOOOP. quite a lot of rebuying gambling tilting going on

goldenIP suggestion of running well is being acknowledged :-), hopefully i keep it up!!!

EDIT: end of first hour, end of rebuys. 11k stack 16th and it has got a lot slower and much tighter from all the players at the table. I like this more though as have been able to take down a few hands with small C-bet on flop especailly in position (hope no one on my table reads this!)
