Default Best 1-2 NL on the strip

I'm gonna be in vegas for a weekend for work and was gonna try to squeeze in some 1-2 NL. Where's the best place on the strip to play some 1-2 NL and not have to wait 3 hours to play or be forced to play shorthanded? Thanks in advance.

I dunno what to tell you man.

ou never said what weekend you'll be in. Presumably in June which means that the WSOP will be in town which means waitlists everywhere....

and all of the places without waitlists force all of their customers to play short handed.

It's a bitch.

try hooters, the games are surprisingly good, its only a 3 table room, it usually one table going but it never seems to get S/H

Try Excalibur, it's a 3/1 NL game with either $100-$200 max buy-in. It's pretty fishy with lots of nice eye candy walking around.

Bally's are full of donks. Maybe 2 players are good on any one table.

Uh, anywhere? Isn't this the standard answer to this thread the two times it gets asked per week?

I can't help with the wait time info, but thought I would share something that you might be interested in. I am planning an upcoming trip and ran a quick spreadsheet off of AVP. My preference is for deeper stacked 1/2, so I filtered for rooms that have >$200 max buy-in, and are on the strip. Here is that list:

<Casino> <Min Buy-in> <Max Buy-in>
Bally's $100 $300
Caesars Palace $100 $500
Flamingo $100 $300
Harrah's $60 $300
Hilton $50 $300
Orleans $100 $300
Paris $100 $300
Sahara $100 $500
Stratosphere $100 $300
Treasure Island (TI) $100 $500
Venetian $100 $300
Wynn $100 no max

Hooters is not on this list ($200 max), but I second that recommendation. I had a blast last time I played there. A nice mix of weak-tight and loose aggressive players.

Edited to add that Caesar's is a 1/3 game.
