Shrug. I find them more suitable than athletic shorts and sometimes it is hot. And miajag, did you not read my post? I was pretty much saying I was the subject of this thread, which is why I posted.

I do think a lot of you are seriously undervaluing age and region in this discussion. Jean shorts are pretty common for people my age in this region. While this may not change the fact I look like a huge dork, it makes people around me overlook that fact more than you gents would.

It's pretty common for Greeks to give off doucehbag airs and be oblivious about it. Doesn't happen all the time, but it's far from surprising that Greeks often come off badly in a community.

Im with him on this one, the only time I wear shorts is to the gym, or if Im laying around the house/playing ball outside etc. I dont think I even own a pair of "khaki" shorts anymore. Its not that you look like a jerkoff if you do, its just that it doesnt suit my personal taste.

The people I knew who were turned off by the Greeks were turned off because their houses smelled like piss from across the street, you could walk by at any hour and see someone throwing up off a balcony, they were often incredible snobs and douchebags, and with all their undeserved rabid self-esteem, a lot of them actually did pretty poorly in school to boot. For some of those frats, it was like an aristocracy of losers.
