Hero checks, MP bets $5, CO folds, Hero ???

MP is 47/16/1 over 50 hands.

I checked hoping to c/r AI, but now that he bets so small, is a call in order?

Is a c/r AI a good move in this spot if he had bet more (say around $12-13?

you will have a hard time getting paid if you call and then start betting the 4-suited board. I raise to 20.

Either he is going to fold his crap or come over the top with his set.

I think this guy is right. You are 50/50 to win. If you push over the top you get the added advantage of fold equity. So now maybe you are a 60/40 favorite to win the pot right there without a showdown.

I don't reraise AQo from the SB preflop, esp. with a limper. It's very uneasy to play oop multiway in a huge pot. Even if you hit your TP, you have to worry about the strength of your opponents' hands.
A 4th flush-card is likely to be an action-killer unless he has a high diamond. MP isn't too aggressive, so I wouldn't be sure that he bets at all, especially because you reraised him before the flop quite a lot. That check looks fishy. Just lead for $15-$20 and feel good if you take the pot right there. If he doesn't have a high diamond, you won't get any action anyway. Especially, if you hit the 4th card.

You have basically two options:

1.) Be ultra aggressive and risk your stack on a draw(I'd say you probably are 45/55 here at best) and some fold equity. I wouldn't shove here, I would 3/4 pot or PSB bet this. It would serve the same purpose. If he shoves, you call. If he just calls the flop bet, just shove on the turn no matter what comes. You'll have roughly 4:1 odds on a bluff/pot odds + some fold equity.

2.) Just call the bet and hope for your draw. There is little risk involved here, he gave you the odds to call his bet on the flop. Only problem is that, his hand might improve on the turn and it'll cost you a lot more to see the river card.

I think option 1 is better because the pot is already big, you want to take it down without showdown. If he pushes you to flip a coin, you definitely have the pot equity to call.
