Do you really think so?

My roommate in college was an Asian engineering major (good school). Despite the fact that he destroyed any math class he came across, and obviously knew the concept of odds and game strategy - he was the WORST poker player I've ever come across.

There is some kind of disconnect between math smarts and gambling smarts when it comes to them asianses.

Sure they may be able to compute the exact % that they'll make their hand on the river... but they have ruck of dlagon, so odds dont matter.

The major part of Asians won't be supergrinders they all have a "thing" for gambling in these countries and they also believe in "lucky" numbers and stuff like that. The second best thing for poker would be a poker bug in Asia. The best thing would be a regulation/deregulation in Th US obv. I want the fish to be able to deposit in an easy fashion again.

My sisters ex fiance is currently doing a PHD in laser physics, so you would think he'd be awesome at maths right?

He believes he has a blackjack system that can beat an 8 deck shoe with ~10-15% deck penetration that are found in most uk casinos.
