Raised in New Bedford, MA. Never cheered for another team.

Really i didnt think that comment was as bad as a couple of you said it was. Maybe my intentions didnt really come thru over the internet. Seemed like after game 1 a lot of rox fans were saying that game 1 going to the sox was all part of their plan....when i didnt see anything like that posted before the game.

Anyways, I respect the Rockies...i seriously had no idea who 3/4 of their team was...but it looks like on paper they had a good year.

Obv it was not part of the plan to lose a game. However, it was not a realistic part of our plan to win game 1. The combination of Beckett, 8 day layoff, kids in world series, kids at Fenway made that game seem unrealstic. No one expected 75-0 but no one really expected a win.

We all realized game 2 was one we needed and could realistically win. It was realistic, just didn't fall our way.

That was the hardest loss I've ever had to take

To see our pitchers come through only to be outdone by the sox was demoralizing

Great game, but good god Hawpe how about you stop swinging at every pitch and missing by a freaking mile

Thanks for showing up Holliday. Oh, and also, you aren't Rickey Henderson.

It's crazy how great Jiminez pitched and he STILL got chased in the 5th. The Sox batters are ridiculously patient, it's nuts. I thik Pedroia swung at a ball out of the strike zone once.

Now we get to face a guy we've never seen before. Of course the sox have never seen Fogg's electric stuff either.

Okajima and Papelbon were lights out.

Jimenez did have some sick stuff early, but as pedestrian as Schilling was throwing, we just couldn't take advantage when we had a chance.

Ya it was a given..only team that had a good chance to beat them was the Yanks. But can't really complain. The Sox have essentially become the bizzaro Yankees a.
They massively outspend the majority of the league, their fans are incredibly obnoxious and annoying, they have a massive collection of fair weather fans and the rest of baseball fans despise them, they have a stud closer, and they are great at coming up big when it counts.

So I'm in the lunch room and one of my coworkers overhears me and another talking about the World Series. She's like "OMG WHO IS IN???!!?!?!?!?!" I say "Boston and Colorado."

"Really? I LOVE Boston, I hope they win."

Ok, yeah, whatever, this is normal and stuff

She comes to my cube today to talk smack, and I seriously almost lost it

"Looks like my team is kicking your ass!!!!!"
