there is nothing odd or weird or unusual about jamaican patties i would say the oddest thing i eat is peanut butter and honey sandwiches. i also dip potato chips in ketchup which people seem to think is very odd, but it makes perfect sense. My biggest seller is city chicken. Think Breaded Pork Chops on a stick. Also Halupkies are my third best seller. Pork, Beef, Rice rolled into balls wrapped in cabbage simmered in a tomatos based sauce.

i don't know how weird it is, but my buddy used to live in the jamaican area of brookly, and lived by this place, that had these things called double doubles (actually that's how we ordered them, i don't know what they were actually called.
they were these kinda, sweet fried bread, folded and filled with a spicy chickpea pureé. they were absolutely delicious.
