Default Someone has robbed $10,000 out of my Neteller. Please help.

Hi i am posting on this forum to ask for advice and help.

Basically i was recently robbed of $10,000 from my neteller account.

About 6 or 7 hours ago i tried logging into my msn however, i was denied access. When i finally did access my msn, by resetting the password, there was emails from neteller which stated withdrawl transactions occuring, 4 x $2500, to cake poker. I have never heard of cake poker till today. I thought this was a mistake, probably a glitch as i would remember withdrawing that amount of money out of my neteller. I logged into neteller and straight away, shock horror, i notice the withdrawals to cake poker. At that moment my heart sank as i had really grinded for months to get it up to that figure and in one swoop someone had taken it all away from me.

I got onto the phone to neteller asap and the people that i talked to initially weren't much of a help. After a while it was finally decided that my account will be locked and the matter would be transferred to the investigation department.

At the same time i logged into cake poker to see for any trends i.e all the funds being lost to a single player however, this was found not to be the case. I decided to ring cake poker who had the nerve to accuse me of loosing that money and me ringing them was a way of getting it back! They told me the money that i lost to were to regulars. After a while i found i was getting no where with the cake support so i decided to end the conversation there.

I informed the police about my case and have sent them the appropriate ip's (obtained from the cake poker support). They said they will investigate into the matter further.

Basically, i have come to the point where i am uncertain whether what i have done is sufficient in order to maximise my chances of ever seeing any of the missing money back. So i am looking to 2+2 members for their input into handling such a delicate situation and if individuals have come to face such a ordeal i would very much like to know how they approached it and any advice they can offer in ressolving this problem as fast and efficiently as possible.

Thankyou for taking the time to read my post.

Regards

All2eazy

(If its more convinient please PM me instead)

How did you log in to cake poker if you had never heard of it?

Why on earth would you keep 10K in neteller of all places? All it takes is one idiot to hack into your email (let me guess, hotmail?) and you're basically history.

come on guys nothing positive that could be added?

Neteller is a online merchant classed as a online bank. So why shouldnt i feel safe that my funds are there. Also, whats wrong with keeping sensitive information within an email.

What sort of retarded question is this? Odds on OP blew the money himself (or this is uber clever spam for cakepoker) but having seen he had $10,000 transferred there I don't think it's beyond the wit of many people (although 2+2 may not be a representative sample) to figure out how to create an account at the site.
