Go Titans, Chiefs, 49ers, and (ugh) Steelers!

For the reasons others have already listed it seems like a pretty good game to play nationally to me.

The more interesting angle IMO is whether the national audience and late timing of the game will enocurage Lovie Smith to leave his starters in any longer. Personally, I think it might, and I'd be kind of peeved if I were a Pack fan.

[/ QUOTE ]

Peeved because you have to beat the 1st string team like everyone else has had to face?

[/ QUOTE ]

Pretty sure he meant once the game is already as good as over.

Just a note here, but this won't be Favre's last game.

[/ QUOTE ]

I wonder how long he'll wait to make a decision this year.

I agree.

That said, this probably won't be his last game.

Eagles-Falcons got moved to 4:15 and are the national game on FOX. Oh man, I can't wait to boo Jimmy Johnson during the pre-game if they come to Philly. "The Eagles have no chance of making the playoffs." What an ignorant [censored].

[/ QUOTE ]

As much as I hate all things Dallas, you can't really blame Jimmy Johnson or call him ignorant for making that statement if he said it when they were 5-6 and had lost 5 of their last 6.

The Eagles are the Redskins of last year in that both were 5-6 and left for dead and came out of nowhere to make the playoffs. Although the Eagles' run was probably more unlikely since they lost Donovan McNabb.

Jimmy Johnson made the comment before the Washington game, when the Eagles were 6-6.

He made it again before the New York game, when the Eagles were 7-6.

does anyone here think the giants need more nationally televised games, or want to see jason campbell that badly?

[/ QUOTE ]

I need to see another Denver game. Only seen ~14 of them (most of them boring).
