Just call down, push back harder when you have a stronger hand.

I'm curious what the villian could have that beats us here? I to have a hard time playing against the guys that go psycho at times, or all the time for that matter and I'd like to think that if I have the best hand I should be drilling it as hard as I can. I've found that when I do have a stronger hand they give up a bit more easily than when we both have a marginal hand

AA, KJ, JJ, 44, AJ

the list is really endless

compare that to the hands we still beat after that flop and preflop action, and the answer is KQ

I think the list ends here...

And if he's bet/3-betting the flop with AJ or capping 44 pre the list of hands we beat is very wide.

Not saying I would go wild here though.

If he's really an idiot I'll certainly raise the turn. Call down if he 3-bets. I often see total morans go crazy and I think it's a mistke not to try and maximize your profits against him before someone else felts him (I hate when I'm the only one who doesn't get some of the donkey's money).

I would have played the same and called down, i also think AK is a possibility fo villian as well but nobody else mentioned that. I would have played an AK this way if i was villian here.

what do you think about capping the flop? do you think thats spew? villian would have probably called, what a about a good tag player, i would probably fold AJ to a cap on the flop, i definitly wouldnt be 3 betting the flop here with that crap.

Hm....keep in mind i haven't been playing 6 max very long but here are my thoughts
I don't think a flop cap is bad at all from you especially you say he is brain dagamed.
If he called the flop cap and bet out the turn(regardless if the turn was a jack or not i would simply call down). While he may be a bad player he has raised you/lead out every chance in this hand, while some of it was unwarranted he has continued to show strength.

In general where i have what appears to me a reaonably strong hand(but appears to be beat) and keep getting played back at i will go into call down mode, see what they showdown and make a note for later. (example, villian capped AJ out of position and played middle pair like it was the nuts on the flop)

"i would probably fold AJ to a cap on the flop, i definitly wouldnt be 3 betting the flop here with that crap."

I think all of us play his hand much differently as well preflop and flop if we see the flop with his AJ. Once you go aggro crazy like him with middle pair after placing 3SB in the pot on the flop plus the other money already in the pot I would peel the turn for 1 more SB.
