Yes I believe Glenn essentially gave up once the ball wasn't tipped directly back towards him.

The WR's of the cowboys aren't exactly known for giving 110% on the field.

The whole last 5 minutes of the game probably completly demoralized the entire team.

The whole last 5 minutes? They had just driven down the field for what looked like the game winning score (and would have almost certainly been without a very questionable spot reversal). Sure, Romo looked demoralized on the sideline, but he made a great play to stay alive in the pocket long enough and a perfect Hail Mary throw.

I just find it extremely hard to believe Glenn would half-ass the final play of a playoff game.
