Florida should be rooting for a close game with both teams looking like crap

[/ QUOTE ]

The computers will still give a huge boost to whoever wins the game, no matter how bad the teams look.

The general one.

I can't tell if you are trying to be funny or not.

So, for the OP: What "general weakness" do you perceive the Big East to have this year? Only asking, because the Big East has shown to be one of the better conferences in I-A so far.

[/ QUOTE ]

They have? I'm not sure I've heard of anyone saying that until now. The Big East doesn't have any wins against any teams in the Top 25 I don't believe. THere isn't any love from the computers for any of the undefeated teams (due to lack of schedule strength).

Florida Gators are cheering for Louisville, correct?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think what it comes down to is, whoever wins tonight needs to lose to Rutgers, and whoever loses tonight needs to beat Rutgers.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think Rutgers is going to get enough love even if they win against West Virginia and Louisville. I may be wrong though. It's happened once or twice.

Not that I think this will happen, but I think it should be discussed.

If Rutgers beats both of these teams and goes undefeated, do they deserve to be in the National Championship game? Why or why not?

If an undefeated WVU or an undefeated Louisville belong in the NC game (a fact that many seem to accept), then so does an undefeated Rutgers.

Let 'Black Thursday' begin. Hopefully UL wins, I think that gives Rutgers the best chance of winning the Big East.

Don't watch much Thursday night football, but as a Gator, I'm definitely watching.
