Default Undisclosed Moneybookers Fees

It has been mentioned in the ‘List of eWallets for Canadians (#2 of 2)’ thread but I thought it might deserve it’s own thread. Apparently there is an extra $20 charged when requesting a cheque from Moneybookers, making the total amount to cash out by cheque ~$25. To be clear, this is for a non-couriered cheque. It appears to be a set fee, as others have experienced the same thing. Moneybookers is claiming it is a bank fee as it is not currently listed on their website. They keep saying there is nothing they can do about it. The email I received is below:

Dear Pissed Off Customer,

Thank you for contacting our support team and for the document provided.

We would like to kindly inform you that a fee of 20.00 USD has been applied on this transaction by the bank. Unfortunately, Moneybookers Ltd. cannot cover such fees at this stage as they are beyond Moneybookers' control and are imposed by the banks themselves.

However, please note that the issue has been brought to the attention of our department in charge. As soon as we have any updates we will contact you again.

Should you have further questions or need assistance feel free to contact us at any time.

Best Regards,
Maya
The Moneybookers Team

At the very least, I think they should at least inform people of these random fees that they are going to charge.
