God I'm going to be on life tilt listening to all the bitching from the locals.

What % of the time do you milk 4 minutes off the clock 30 yards from the endzone when the defense has 3 time outs?

I like Collinsworth but come on. Give me a 4pt lead w/ 4 minutes left over a tie game w/ 90 seconds left against any team, anywhere, any time.

You are still being really results oriented. Where you complaining when Feeley threw 10 yard passes on first down?
Passing isn't FPS.

[/ QUOTE ]
QFT. Play to win, especially against the Patriots at home.

How about calling plays that are most likely to keep the clock running.

[/ QUOTE ]

arrgh, you're not to run the clock down there, you're trying to tie or take the lead

gg eagles, if this gives the steelers a gameplan against us, eat [censored] and die plz

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah if, the steelers run every trick play in the book to perfection, munch surprise off-side kicks, and a different Q comes in than is originally gameplanned for. But I wouldnt discount it.

[/ QUOTE ]

i was thinking more along the lines of, if the steelers get a strong pass rush - being an awesome, dominant defense and all - and punch randy moss in the mouth, they'll have a chance. if they can get a few turnovers, keep the pats away from big ben, etc, it could be real trouble. brady can't bring his C game against the steelers and expect to escape.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think you've fallen into all the "steelers are really good" hype. Sadly, they don't live up to their hype. Their O-line BLOWS this year and the secondary has sucked as usual.

Pass isn't the right call there.

The Pats are gassed on D. Westbrook is your best player, you want to kill some clock, so the play is to go with Westbrook unless you have some great reason not to.

Here's what Reid thinks...
"They will expect us to run with Westbrook so we'll throw down the field".

Reid does this repeatedly season in and season out.

How about passing because Feeley is throwing for EIGHT yards per pass and Westbrook is running for like THREE yards per carry?

Were the Eagles doing anything on the ground? I didn't see it.

There is no argument, they should have run on that play. Period.
